Overview

Our client has grown to be Scotland's largest supplier of small tools and general plant into the Construction industry. The company supports training and personal development, and is recruiting a Tool Plant Fitter to develop operations in the Perth area of Scotland.

The Role

This role is fundamental to the company’s business strategy and requires ambitious individuals. The position is both workshop and site based and involves repair and service work for a variety of small to medium sized general tools and plant. Work ranges from small tools to small dumpers and small plant. The role includes general upkeep and maintenance of equipment, and the repair of broken or damaged products returned to the depot. Some customers may require on-site repair; company vehicles will be provided to conduct the work.

The Applicant

Suitable applicants must demonstrate strong technical experience with the above products or have solid mechanical petrol/diesel experience and be seeking a challenging new role. Fitting, service and repair experience is required, with technical fitting of general tools, plant, or petrol/diesel equipment.

The ideal applicants would be based in or around Perth to be close to the site.

Basic Salary £30-32k (Neg) + full company benefits.
