Fitters – Substation Projects Multiple Locations – Argyll Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-term Payment: PAYE only We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Fitters to join long-term substation projects across multiple sites in Argyll. The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of earthing installation and associated electrical works within substation environments. Required Tickets & Qualifications * SHEA Power * Manual Handling * Previous experience working on substation or electrical infrastructure projects Role Responsibilities: Below-Ground Earthing * Running out, installing & cutting and preparing copper tape * Installing copper tape around foundation bases * Brazing copper tape * Testing completed earthing systems GIS Hall Earthing * Installing earthing within cable trenches and around the perimeter of GIS halls * Installing earth spurs to metal structures * Running out and securing copper tape * Installing cleats * Cutting and preparing copper tape * Brazing copper tape * Testing completed earthing systems GIS, Battery, LVAC, Relay, Telecom, Permit & Welfare Rooms * Installing earthing above and below raised computer floors * Installing earthing within cable trenches * Running out and securing copper tape * Installing cleats * Cutting and preparing copper tape * Brazing copper tape * Testing completed earthing systems If you are an experienced Electrical Fitter with the required tickets and are available for an ASAP start on a long-term project, please get in touch with Amy Naden at ISS to discuss the role and rates.
