65000 - 85000 per annumCity of London, LondonPermanentFIX Support Engineer Analyst - EquitiesHybrid - 4 days per week in office - Location: Central LondonAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lead Support Analyst to join a high-performing Global FIX Connectivity team supporting mission-critical trading systems across Global teams.This is a hands-on, technically demanding role where you will sit at the intersection of trading, technology, and client execution, ensuring seamless connectivity between clients, brokers, vendors, and exchanges.If you thrive in fast-paced trading environments and bring deep expertise in FIX protocol, equities trading, and OMS platforms, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership and lead from the front.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide front-line support for high-touch and low-touch equities trading, including SWAPs and F&O desksOwn and manage FIX connectivity lifecycle: onboarding, certification, testing, and production supportTroubleshoot and resolve real-time trading and connectivity issues impacting client executionWork closely with infrastructure teams to configure and maintain FIX network connectivityBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, exchanges, and vendorsCollaborate with global teams across Europe, Asia, and the US for seamless support coverageSupport and enhance trading workflows across OMS and execution platformsCore Skills & Experience (Highly Emphasised)We are particularly looking for strong expertise in:FIX Protocol (Expert Level) - certification, onboarding, and troubleshootingEquities Trading Knowledge - deep understanding of cash equities, DMA/DSA environmentsOMS Platforms - strong exposure to order and trade lifecycle systemsClient Execution Knowledge - understanding of trade flows and execution workflowsFidessa / Flextrade - hands-on experience highly preferredLinux - confident working in production environmentsSQL - ability to query, analyse, and troubleshoot data issuesAdditional Requirements7+ years of experience in FIX connectivity / electronic trading supportExperience in a broker/dealer environment (3-5 years preferred)Strong understanding of:Algorithmic tradingSWAPs, Futures & OptionsExchange connectivity (including dark/lit pools)Familiarity with Global market structures is advantageousExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with traders and external clientsDetail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform under pressureWhy Join?Work in a globally connected trading environmentGain exposure to multi-asset, cross-regional marketsBe part of a high-impact FIX and trading technology teamOpportunity to lead initiatives and influence client connectivity strategyApply NowIf you have a strong background in FIX, equities trading, OMS platforms, and client execution, and you're looking for your next challenge in a global trading environment, please apply!McGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
