Hours: 40 hours per week | MondayFriday
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our incredible team. Whether your background is in primary or secondary education, if you're passionate about adapting learning, building meaningful relationships and helping every pupil achieve their potential, we'd love to hear from you.

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Build positive, trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals to provide exceptional support.
Safeguard the wellbeing of every pupil and help create a nurturing learning environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent required.
Passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every child succeed.
Creative, adaptable and able to tailor teaching to a range of learning needs.
Calm, resilient and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs.
Experience working within SEN, Autism, SEMH or specialist education is highly desirable, but we also encourage applications from mainstream teachers who are looking to make the move into specialist education. Full support and ongoing professional development will be provided.
Red Kite School is an independent special school for up to 60 young people aged 1118 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Opened in September 2024, the school is located in the beautiful market town of Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. Our experienced team creates a calm, structured environment where pupils build confidence, resilience and achieve positive outcomes through personalised learning, high expectations and strong relationships.
