Floor Layer

We are working with a valued client who is looking to add an experienced Floor Layer to their established maintenance team covering Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled floor layer with experience working in occupied residential properties, delivering high-quality flooring installations and repairs. Key Responsibilities * Laying and repairing a variety of floor coverings, including vinyl, safety flooring, cap and cove, laminate, and carpet tiles. * Preparing subfloors, including screeding and floor levelling. * Carrying out floor repairs and replacements in occupied and void properties. * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. * Working closely with tenants and providing excellent customer service. * Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times. What We're Looking For * Proven experience as a Floor Layer. * Strong knowledge of vinyl, safety flooring, wet rooms, and domestic flooring installations. * Experience working within social housing, residential maintenance, or local authority contracts. * Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively. * Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Full clean UK driving licence is essential.
