Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver Location: Bedford Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am start Contract: Temp to Perm Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy team in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who is looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent. Key Responsibilities General warehouse duties Loading and unloading materials Operating a counterbalance forklift Operating machinery, including a band saw for cutting metal Preparing and moving materials safely around the site Driving a company van when required Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment Following all company health and safety procedures Candidate Requirements Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential Full UK Driving Licence – essential Previous warehouse experience Comfortable operating machinery Good understanding of workplace health and safety Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties Reliable, punctual and hardworking Able to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday working hours 7:00am start Temp-to-perm opportunity Long-term employment prospects Stable weekday working hours Opportunity to secure a permanent position Interested?
