Momentum Training is an Ofsted-rated Good training provider delivering government-funded training that helps people gain skills, qualifications and employment. We are looking for an experienced RTITB Accredited Forklift Truck Instructor to join our Northampton team and deliver high-quality training to adult learners.
You'll play a key role in helping learners build confidence, achieve recognised qualifications and progress into employment within the warehousing and logistics sector.
What You'll Be Doing

Deliver RTITB accredited FLT training to adult learners.
*
Teach safe operating procedures for Counterbalance and Reach trucks.
*
Conduct practical demonstrations and learner assessments.
*
Prepare learners for successful certification.
*
Deliver engaging classroom and practical sessions.
*
Complete learner documentation and assessment records accurately.
*
Maintain RTITB standards and compliance requirements.
*
Carry out daily equipment and training area safety checks.
*
Support learners throughout their training journey.
*
Work with the centre team to achieve learner success and progression outcomes.
*
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
*
Current RTITB Forklift Instructor accreditation (essential).
*
Experience delivering FLT training.
*
Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
*
Strong health and safety knowledge.
*
Excellent communication and learner engagement skills.
*
Good administration and record-keeping skills.
*
Passion for supporting adults into employment.
