Food Production Operative Location: Lordswood, Chatham ME5 8  Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 (30 min unpaid break) We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative to join a busy and growing food production team. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with pay increases available after a successful 12-week probation period. Duties Include: Preparing, slicing, and packing meat products, including pork Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards Working within a chilled production environment Some Heavy lifting and manual handling duties Following all health & safety procedures PPE must be worn at all times. This is supplied including safety boots  Requirements: Comfortable handling meat products, including pork Able to work in a cold/chiller environment Physically fit due to heavy lifting requirements Reliable with a good work ethic Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential What We Offer: £12.90 per hour Monday to Friday shifts – no weekends Full PPE provided Temp-to-perm opportunity Hourly rate increase after 12-week probation period If you are hardworking, reliable, and looking for a long-term opportunity within food production, we would love to hear from you.
