Forge Operative Location: Halesowen Job Type: Permanent Working Pattern: 4-day working week Hourly Rate: £14.88 - £15.66 per hour Bonus: Up to £100 per week after successful completion of probation We are looking for a Forge Operative to join our clients team on a permanent basis in Halesowen. Key Responsibilities Operating forging and pressing equipment safely and efficiently. Carrying out forge pressing and associated production activities. Using FLT and overhead crane equipment to safely move materials and components. Inspecting components throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are maintained. Carrying out hardness testing and accurately recording results. Cleaning components and equipment as required. Identifying defects, damage or inconsistencies during production. Following work instructions, quality procedures and health & safety requirements. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
