The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Great Wyrley. This is a hands-on role working closely with the production and warehouse teams to ensure materials and finished products are moved safely, efficiently and on time.

* Supply production areas with materials as required.
* Assist with stock movements and general warehouse duties.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard and warehouse.
* Complete daily forklift checks and report any defects or safety concerns.

* Ability to work safely around pedestrians, vehicles and moving machinery.
* Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
* Good attention to detail when handling materials and loading vehicles.
Forklift Certification
Candidates must have appropriate operator training for the type of forklift used on site. In the UK, there is no single government-issued "forklift licence" employers must ensure operators receive adequate training, including basic, job-specific and familiarisation training.
A recognised forklift training certificate is therefore required, with the employer able to carry out additional site-specific training and familiarisation where necessary.
Relevant certification may include:

* Reach Forklift Certificate, where applicable
* Other truck/attachment-specific training where required
