Forklift Driver

Start Date: Immediate Start Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Pay: £13.50+ p/hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established warehouse business in Bury St Edmunds. This is a varied, hands-on role involving goods in, stock movement, picking and general warehouse duties within a fast-paced environment A Pivot Steer (Bendi) Forklift licence would be highly desirable, although not essential, as there may be opportunities to support with forklift duties. Candidates must be physically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling and lifting throughout the shift. Pay & Hours: £13.50+ p/hour Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00Forklift / Warehouse Operative Duties: Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch Moving stock throughout the warehouse Assisting with goods in and checking deliveries Carrying out general stock control and warehouse duties Operating a Pivot Steer (Bendi) forklift where licensed Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Following all health and safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For: Previous warehouse experience A valid Pivot Steer (Bendi) Forklift licence is desirable Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team Good attention to detail and a positive attitudeIf you're looking for a long-term warehouse opportunity with a great team, we'd love to hear from you.
