Are you a detail-oriented professional looking to advance your career in a dynamic warehouse environment? We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our clients team in Heysham. This full-time, 12-month position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential logistics operations in a professional, safety-focused setting.
Responsibilities:
Accurately receive, unpack, and book goods using the JDE computer system.
Manage inventory by locating bulk items to hazard warehouses and picking stock for repack orders.
Perform cycle counts and resolve location discrepancies to ensure inventory integrity.
Coordinate export shipments, ensuring precise documentation and compliance with transport regulations.
Handle fine chemicals in accordance with rigorous safety and exposure management protocols.
Operate warehouse equipment safely, adhering to all site security, environmental, and quality policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse, goods-in/out, or materials handling environment.
Forklift Truck (FLT) license.
Strong proficiency in warehouse and inventory management systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Basic computer literacy and effective communication skills for team collaboration.
What We Offer:
Competitive compensation: £13.20/hour
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.
