Job Description: Framework Manager – Structures & Highways Location: Somerset Sector: Highways & Civil Engineering Frameworks An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Framework Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of fast-paced structures and highways projects across Somerset. This role sits at the heart of a long-term civil engineering framework, requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. The successful candidate will oversee the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of framework works, working closely with clients, supply chain partners and internal teams to ensure performance targets are consistently achieved. The Role * Lead and manage the delivery of highways and structures works across a live framework, including bridges, drainage, roadworks and associated civil engineering schemes * Act as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong collaborative relationships and ensuring framework objectives are met * Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget * Coordinate internal teams including site management, engineering, commercial and planning functions * Oversee subcontractor and supplier performance, ensuring quality, safety and contractual compliance * Drive programme planning and resource allocatio...
