Our brand-new Reading branch is seeking Chefs looking for freelance work to join our network. Opportunities span across a wide range of industries, kitchens and events in the Greater Reading area. What We're Looking For We welcome chefs who are: Passionate about creating high-quality food Able to work confidently in fast-paced or unfamiliar kitchens Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented Strong communicators who work well under pressure Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene procedures Flexible with shifts (daytime, evenings, weekends) We also require food hygiene certification. Some placements may require further certifications including DBS Roles & Responsibilities Depending on your level and placement, you may include but not be limited to: Prepare and cook dishes to specification Support service across a variety of stations Maintain a clean, safe working environment Assist with menu prep and stock rotation Lead kitchen sections or supervise junior staff (higher-level roles) Step into short-notice temporary shifts with confidence What We Offer ✔ Competitive hourly rates based on experience ranging between £17-£23 per hour ✔ Flexible work that fits your schedule ✔ Holiday pay accrued for every hour you work ✔ A wide variety of placements to build your skills and portfolio ✔ Supportive agency team to match you to the right roles and help throughout the process ✔ Opportunities for permanent or long-term ongoing assignments We want to hear from you!
