Freelance Music Tutors (Sessional Bank)

Location: Aberdeen City (with occasional work across Aberdeenshire)

Contract: Freelance / Sessional

Rate: £25 per hour

Music 4 U is looking for talented freelance music tutors to join our growing sessional team.

For over 20 years, we've been developing the musical talent of children and young people, particularly those whose ability may be overlooked because of disability, Additional Support Needs (ASN) or personal circumstance. We believe musical excellence and inclusive practice go hand in hand and we're looking for tutors who share that ambition.

You'll work alongside a passionate creative team delivering inspiring music sessions, supporting young people to develop their musicianship, confidence and performance skills. Opportunities include our Sounds of Music programme for young adults with additional support needs, community music projects and preparations for our flagship annual production, I AM.

• Are confident teaching singing and/or instruments.
• Can inspire young people of all abilities.
• Value creativity, inclusion and high musical standards.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold PVG Scheme Membership or are willing to join.

Experience of working with young people or people with Additional Support Needs is welcomed but not essential. We're looking for tutors with the right attitude, musical ability and commitment to helping every young musician reach their potential.
