Freight Forwarder
with a strong background in
Deep Sea Import Operations & Customs Clearance .
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, collaborative team where you'll take ownership of international shipments from origin through to final delivery, working closely with customers, shipping lines, customs authorities and transport providers.
Responsibilities Managing end-to-end
Deep-Sea Import shipments . Coordinating bookings with shipping lines, hauliers, overseas agents and other key stakeholders. Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery. Handling customs clearance processes and ensuring full compliance with regulations. Preparing and processing import documentation including Bills of Lading and customs entries. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Resolving shipment, customs and transport-related issues efficiently. Providing proactive updates and exceptional customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Criteria Previous experience within Freight Forwarding Strong knowledge of
Deep-Sea Freight / Import Operations Experience with customs procedures and customs clearance documentation Excellent understanding of shipping and import documentation Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication and customer service skills Benefits Competitive - depending on experience.
