KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor Location: Centre based – with occasional home workingSalary: £35,000 pro rata depending on hoursType: Part Time, Permanent Duties:
- To plan and deliver Functional Skills Maths and English to Apprentice learners, delivering on a 1:1 and group basis.
- Assist with the design and development of the Functional Skills curriculum, adhering to bespoke learner needs and awarding body standards.
- Conduct initial and diagnostic assessments via BKSB, to identify learner needs, and ensuring their targets are logged on their ILP.
- The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
- Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
- The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
