One Ten Associates is partnering with a growing private credit manager to appoint a Funds Lawyer to its London team.

Following a period of strong performance and successful fundraising, the business is expanding its platform and launching new products. This newly created position represents a genuine growth hire and offers the opportunity to join the firm at an exciting stage of its development.


The Funds Lawyer will work across the full lifecycle of the firm’s funds and investment products, supporting fund formation, fundraising, investor relations, co-investments and ongoing fund governance. The role will provide considerable responsibility, direct exposure to senior stakeholders and regular interaction with institutional investors and external counsel.


Key responsibilities:

  • Advising on fund structuring, formation and restructuring, including carry arrangements and downstream investment vehicles.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating fund documentation.
  • Liaising with external fund counsel, investors and fund service providers in relation to fund documentation and related matters.
  • Managing fund and investor closing processes.
  • Supporting the negotiation and implementation of investor terms, side letters and related arrangements.
  • Leading the legal set-up of co-investment vehicles and supporting associated investor workstreams.
  • Advising on end-of-term fund structuring and related considerations.


The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Approximately 2–7 years’ PQE
  • Training and experience within a leading private funds practice and/or an in-house legal team at an alternative investment manager.
  • Strong experience of private fund formation, structuring and fundraising matters. xwzovoh
