Gas Engineer

Job Description We are recruiting for a Gas Engineer to join a thriving safety equipment company based inIrthlingborough. This is a permanent role working Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-4.30pm. A salary of £35,000 + bonus + excellent beneifts and training opportunities are on offer for the successful candidate!Join a leading UK supplier of confined space and site safety equipment as an experienced Gas Engineer specialising in Gas Detection and Location Systems to join their growing team.Key Responsibilities for the Gas EngineerInspect, service, repair, and calibrate gas detection and location systems.Provide technical support to internal teams and customers (phone, email, onsite).Conduct quality checks and contribute to process improvements.Maintain accurate records in Syrinx and support hire/sales order processing.Uphold workshop safety, housekeeping, and operational standards.Deputise for the Workshop Manager when required.The right Gas Engineer will have the following:Experience with gas detection equipment, calibration, or electronic diagnostics.Proven mentoring or coaching experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment and adapt to changing priorities.Benefits25 days holiday + bank holidays (including Christmas shutdown).Company Sick Pay (subject to eligibility).Health Cash Plan & Employee Assistance Programme.Life Assurance (post-probation).Workplace pension scheme.Eye care scheme.Free onsite parking. xkybehq If youre an experienced Gas Engineer with expertise in gas detection or location systemsand youre ready to step into a technical lead rolewed love to hear from you.
