Reporting to the Mechanical Contracts Engineer the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking various planned and reactive maintenance tasks and occasional new minor installation work.
The individual will work as part of the FM team, but must demonstrate a sound knowledge of all mechanical, electrical and building fabric systems and demonstrate ability to work on their own initiative.
You will also be required to participate in the companys on call rota and work across contracts when required.

- Friday (40 hours) Job Type: Permanent Benefits: Up to 33 days paid annual leave Company Pension Free Life Assurance Training and Development Discounted Private Health Care Scheme Discounted Gym Membership Uniform Provided Opportunity to work overtime The Multi Skilled Commercial Catering Gas Engineer will: Carry out Planned maintenance to gas appliances and pipework in line with contract specification, industry guidelines and association with the company H&S policies.
Diagnose breakdown on various catering equipment including gas fired and electrically supplied Diagnose heating breakdowns to include boilers, control systems including control valves and pumps Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to M&E and equipment as required.
Participate on the companies on call rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
Assist other team members and contracts when required or as directed from Contract Supervisors Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales.
Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting other engineers as and when required.
All duties carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Work as part of a team responsible for the maintenance of various sites Accurate completion and timely submission company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) as required per contract.
About You Essential Criteria Gas Safe Registration (Current) COMCAT qualifications Minimum 3 years experience working as a mobile multi-skilled engineer within the Commercial sector Previous experience commercial catering maintenance and breakdowns Previous experience with commercial gas heating Demonstrate previous experience in a Maintenance role, particularly in relation to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Heating services.
Domestic Gas, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT 2.IOSH Working Safely / CSCS Card 5.Commercial gas, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TCPA1, Unvented Hot Water.
