Gas & Plumbing Engineer

Gas & Plumbing Engineer – London Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm | £55,000+ depending on experience | Company vehicle + overtime opportunities Polyteck Building Services is looking for an experienced Gas & Plumbing Engineer to carry out plumbing, heating and mechanical works across domestic and commercial properties in London. The role will involve installations, repairs, maintenance, fault finding, testing and commissioning, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. What you'll get * 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (negotiable) * Pension scheme * Friendly and supportive working environment * Company training and upskilling * Opportunities for growth and development What you'll be doing * Install, repair and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing and mechanical systems * Carry out fault finding and diagnose system issues * Complete 1st and 2nd fix plumbing works * Carry out testing and commissioning * Complete accurate job records and reports * Work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and risk assessments * Liaise professionally with clients and colleagues * Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota when required What we're looking for * Gas Safe Registered – Domestic & Commercial * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating, or equivalent * Proven domestic and commercial experience * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable * Unvented Hot Water (G3) * LPG and Catering Gas qualifications * WRAS Water Regulations Certificate * Knowledge of BMS systems * Relevant Health & Safety training Additional Information: All offers are subject to pre-employment checks and a DBS check.
