Job Type: Full-Time | Office-Based

Our client has built an excellent reputation over 100 years for delivering expert legal advice alongside a genuinely personal approach to client care.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable firm where you will manage a varied caseload while developing your career within a collaborative and professional environment.

  • Managing a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious litigation and family law matters from instruction through to conclusion
  • Advising clients on a range of disputes, including contract issues, property disputes, tortious matters, contentious probate and personal injuries claims
  • Handling family law matters including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, and pre‑nuptial and cohabitation agreements
  • Drafting legal documentation including pleadings, witness statements, applications, settlement agreements, and orders
  • Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
  • Liaising with counsel, experts, and third parties
  • Negotiating settlements and supporting clients through mediation where required
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to business development
  • Managing correspondence and maintaining accurate case records and working efficiently and most effectively

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in litigation and family law
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Able to work independently while recognising when to seek guidance
  • Organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Can displays flexibility to get involved with not so familiar caseloads
  • Experienced with legal case management systems and familiar with HMRC and HMCTS portals
  • A good character and displays exemplary temperament
  • Ambitious and industrious
