General Practitioner (GP) 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (October March) Location: Bridgwater Bay Primary Care Network (9 Practices) Contract: Fixed Term October to March (6 months) Hours: Flexible we welcome a range of working patterns Help Us Strengthen Primary Care This Winter We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient-centred GP to join our Primary Care Network (PCN) on a six-month fixed-term contract from October to March, helping us increase clinical capacity during the busy winter period. This is a unique opportunity to work across our network of nine friendly GP practices, providing additional clinical support where it is needed most while enjoying a flexible role designed around both service need and work-life balance.

About the Role

Working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams, you will: Deliver high-quality GP consultations. Support practices with increased winter demand a mix of routine and urgent appointments. Build relationships with practice teams and patients.

What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from GPs who: Hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise. Are included on the NHS England GP Performers List. Have experience within Somerset. Are adaptable and keen to experience different practice environments. Value high-quality patient care and teamwork.
