Job Title: General Practitioner

Hours: To Be Agreed

Responsible to: Clinical Lead

Job summary:

We're looking for a GP who shares our vision and wants to practise medicine with purpose. You'll manage a varied caseload across our diverse patient population, with protected time and support to develop lifestyle medicine skills and contribute to health equity initiatives. The post holder must: Have a GMC registration with a licence to practise Qualified to MRCGP or equivalent Be included on the NHS England Performers List Commit to providing high standards of clinical care Be able to work independently and within a team Clinical responsibilities: Provide high-quality, person-centred care across the full scope of general practice Support good care through the efficient use of digital tools for, clinical triage, repeat prescribing, clinical correspondence and test results. Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team (nursing, pharmacy, social prescribing, health coaching) Contribute to practice-level projects addressing local health inequalities (e.g., outreach clinics, partnership work with community organisations) Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement

About You Essential:

  • GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the GP Register for at least 2 years
  • Commitment to reducing health inequalities and understanding of the social determinants of health
  • Genuine interest in lifestyle medicine and prevention-focused care
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Desirable:

  • Experience working with underserved or marginalised communities
  • Quality Improvement, teaching, or leadership experience

Other responsibilities within the organisation:

Awareness of and compliance with all relevant policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety A commitment to life‑long learning and audit to ensure evidence‑based best practice Contributing to evaluation/audit and clinical standard setting within the organisation Attending training and events organised by the organisation or other agencies, where appropriate.

The post-holder should recognise the importance of effective communication within the team and will strive to: Communicate effectively with other team members Communicate effectively with patients and carers Recognise peoples needs for alternative methods of communication and respond accordingly.
