Salaried GP – Woking

6 Sessions per Week | £11,000 per Session

We are delighted to be working with a friendly, supportive and forward-thinking GP practice in Woking, who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to work within a well-organised practice that places a strong emphasis on high-quality patient care, teamwork, continuity and clinician wellbeing.

The Role

  • Location: Woking
  • Position: Salaried GP
  • Sessions: 6 sessions per week
  • Salary: £11,000 per session
  • Working Environment: Supportive, collaborative and well-organised practice
  • Home Visits: No home visiting required

Main Duties

As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services to the practice population. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine GP consultations, both face-to-face and by telephone where requiredAssessing, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Providing safe and appropriate prescribing in line with practice and national guidelines
  • Managing and actioning your own Docman workflow, blood results and prescriptions
  • Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical recordsWorking collaboratively with Partners, Salaried GPs, Nurses, ANPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Participating in clinical meetings and practice development activities where appropriate
  • Supporting a positive and collaborative practice culture
  • Contributing to education, learning and training within the practice where appropriate

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Register
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organisational and clinical decision‑making skills
  • Commitment to professional standards and safe clinical practice

Desirable:

  • Experience or additional skills in Women's Health
  • Coil and/or contraceptive implant fitting qualifications

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates will be required to complete the appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
