Geography Teacher
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and supportive Geography Department. They are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic Geography Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3-KS4. You will work alongside an experienced team to inspire students and help them develop a strong understanding and enthusiasm for Geography.
Both experienced Geography Teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
As a member of the Geography Department, you will deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, developing students' understanding of both human and physical Geography. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing lessons while creating a positive and challenging learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence and academic achievement.
Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Geography at secondary level
Ability to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills with students, staff and parents
