Geography Teacher

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Geography to start in September 2025 or January 2026 at an inner city secondary school. The role is suitable for both ECTs and those candidates with teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach Geography across Key Stages up to A level where possible and contribute to improving uptake and attainment in Geography.
• Join and work with a strong humanities department; Geography currently has 3 teachers, and you will be the next addition to the team.
• Help develop strategies to strengthen Geography uptake at GCSE and towards A level where appropriate.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Suitable for ECTs and experienced candidates.
• Confident in subject knowledge and able to teach to A level would be advantageous.
• Good results at GCSE in Geography and across all subjects.
