The Role As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for: Planning and delivering engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4. Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to participate and achieve their potential. Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with a range of abilities. Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress. Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management. Developing students' knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for Geography. Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Geography and Humanities department. Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate. The Ideal Geography Teacher The school is looking for a teacher who: Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has experience teaching Geography within a secondary school environment. Has strong subject knowledge across the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum. Can plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons. Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Can motivate and challenge students of different abilities. Is reliable, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality teaching. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is passionate about supporting students' academic and personal development.
