KEY POINTS

* Go and distributed systems on AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform

* Real device level engineering, GNSS, GPS and RTK positioning over binary protocols

* Geospatial processing at volume across tens of thousands of concurrent IoT devices

* Reporting directly into the CTO in a small, senior engineering team

* 3 years plus commercial Go, they will train the positioning and geospatial side

* Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience

We are supporting a long established technology and telecommunications business in Kent that runs its own core network and builds its own software in house.

Their SaaS product is a geolocation and workforce safety platform used across construction, utilities, transport, aviation and the public sector. It tracks people and assets on live operational sites and alerts workers when they move into hazardous areas. The data path genuinely matters here. This is safety relevant software, not reporting dashboards.
