Horizon Teachers is looking for enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools in Walthamstow and the surrounding area. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates considering a career in teaching, looking to build classroom experience before starting a PGCE or School Direct route.
The role:

• Graduate Teaching Assistant, secondary school setting
• Walthamstow and surrounding East London boroughs
• Day-to-day and ongoing placements available
• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4, including 1:1 and small group intervention
• Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a degree (2:1 or above preferred, though not essential)
• Genuinely interested in pursuing a career in education
• Confident supporting classroom teachers and working with young people
• Reliable, patient, and adaptable to different school environments
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
