FETTLER / METAL FINISHER – IMMEDIATE START We are currently looking for an experienced Fettler / Metal Finisher to join a busy manufacturing environment working Nights. The Role: * Fettling and finishing fabricated metal components * Grinding and dressing welds * Removing excess material, weld spatter and sharp edges * Using angle grinders, die grinders and other hand tools * Preparing components for painting, blasting or the next stage of production * Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality standards * Working from drawings and job specifications where required * Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area * Working to production targets and deadlines The Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience as a Fettler, Metal Finisher, Fabricator or Welder * Confident using grinders and workshop hand tools * Good attention to detail * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable with a strong work ethic * Experience working with mild steel or fabricated components is advantageous What’s on offer: * Competitive hourly rate * Wakefield * Upto 20% uplift in pay for the Night shift * Permanent position / ongoing work * Immediate start available * Working towards been a Sprayer Interested?
