Garden Machinery Mechanic (Mobile / Workshop) – Guildford Location: Guildford Salary: £35,000 - £40,000+ Basic DOE + Overtime (£40,000 - £45,000 OTE) Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm Company Van Provided Overtime Paid at 1.5x Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established and respected business within the Agricultural & Groundcare sector to recruit a Garden Machinery Engineer covering Guildford and the surrounding areas. This role offers a mixture of mobile and workshop-based work, servicing and repairing a wide range of garden, turf, and golf course machinery. The Role As a Garden Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment, including: Ride-on and pedestrian mowers Golf course maintenance equipment Turf machinery Compact tractors Hedge trimmers and strimmers Utility vehicles Small petrol and diesel-powered equipmentYou will split your time between the workshop and customer sites, providing high levels of service and technical support. We are looking for someone who: Holds a full UK driving licence Has experience working on garden machinery, turf equipment, golf machinery, agricultural equipment, plant machinery, or small engines Has strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills Is confident working independently and as part of a team Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills Holds a land-based engineering or relevant mechanical qualification (advantageous but not essential)What's On Offer: £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary DOE Overtime paid at 1.5x Company Van Provided Bonus scheme linked to business performance 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Birthday off after qualifying period Ongoing manufacturer and product training Career progression opportunities Company pension schemeIf you're looking for a varied role working on a wide range of garden, turf, and golf machinery with a reputable business, we'd like to hear from you.
