Grounds Maintenance & Cleaning Team Leader Location: Chichester, West Sussex Salary: £28,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance & Cleaning Team Leader on behalf of our client based in Chichester. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual with experience in grounds maintenance, cleaning, and team leadership. You'll be responsible for leading a team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance and cleaning services across a range of residential housing sites, including general needs estates, sheltered accommodation, and extra care facilities throughout Sussex and Hampshire. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team carrying out grounds maintenance and cleaning duties across multiple sites. Organise daily workloads and ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard. Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks. Undertake grounds maintenance duties including mowing, strimming, weeding, hedge maintenance, and litter picking. Complete cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, dusting, and maintaining communal areas. Quote for additional works and arrange completion where required.
