Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Nottingham, NG5 6NZ Pay: £12.87 per hour Hours: 42 hours per week Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm Contract: Temporary until 28 August 2026 Start: Immediate Enhanced DBS Required Lynx Employment Services is recruiting an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team maintaining school grounds in the Nottingham area. ## Key Responsibilities Maintaining school grounds and outdoor areas to a high standard Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance Operating equipment including strimmers and other powered machinery Marking out football pitches and running track lines Keeping all outdoor areas clean, safe and well-presented Following health and safety procedures at all times ## Requirements Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience Experience using strimmers, mowers and other grounds maintenance equipment Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to undergo one if applicable) ## What We Offer £12.87 per hour Full-time hours (42 per week) Immediate start available Opportunity to work within a professional grounds maintenance team If you have experience in grounds maintenance and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
