Location: London wide, site based (must live within 1 hour of Fulham, SW6) Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience, plus company vehicle, fuel card and overtime We're working with a well-established, family-run property maintenance group in Fulham to find an experienced, reliable Groundworker for their growing drainage division. This is hands-on drainage groundworks across residential and commercial properties in London: excavations, installations, remedial works and reinstatement. You'll work alongside drainage engineers, supervisors and labourers, and take pride in getting the job done safely and to a high standard. What you'll be doing: * Excavation works for drainage installations, repairs and major remedial works, digging safely around live underground services * Installing ACO drainage systems, channel drains, gullies, inspection chambers and underground pipework * Constructing and installing precast concrete and plastic manholes, benching, covers and frames * Installing, repairing and rerouting underground drainage pipework (PVC, clay, HDPE), including collapsed and defective drains * Installing external soil and sewer stacks, rainwater pipework and connections to existing drainage * Reinstatement works: concrete, tarmac, block paving, kerbs, driveways and external surfaces * Operating small plant (breakers, compactors, cut-off saws, trench compactors) What you'll need: * 5+ years as a Groundworker in construction, drainage, utilities or property maintenance * Strong experience installing ACO systems, manholes, running pipework and external sewer stacks * Experience in drainage excavations and reinstatement works * Good understanding of underground services and safe digging practices * Full UK driving licence (essential) * Physically fit and confident with small plant and power tools * CSCS, CPCS or NPORS plant tickets an advantage, not essential
