Groundwork Gangs, 360 Operators & Groundworkers Required – Huntingdon Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire Job Type: [Sub-contract / Self-employed Start Date: ASAP Rate: We are currently recruiting Front End and Back End Groundwork Gangs, along with 360 Excavator Operators and experienced Groundworkers, for a busy new-build housing development in Huntingdon. Immediate starts available for the right candidates. Front End Gangs Working on the initial infrastructure phase — excavation, drainage, and foundations ahead of superstructure. Skills & requirements: * Proven experience in drainage installation (foul & surface water) * Foundation excavation & footings experience on housing/residential sites * Sub-base and hardcore laying to engineer's specification * Manhole and gully construction * Confident reading drainage and setting-out drawings * Experience working alongside 360 operators and taking direction from levels/laser * Valid CSCS card (Green Labourer or Blue Skilled Worker – Groundworker NVQ preferred) * CPCS/NPORS ticket an advantage if also operating small plant (dumper, roller) * Own PPE and hand tools Back End Gangs Working on the finishing phase — kerbing, paving, surfacing, and final reinstatement
