Position:Supervisor to a Groundworks gang

Project: Major Infrastructure Scheme AWE Aldermaston

Contractor: Tier 1 Principal Contractor

Location: AWE Aldermaston, Berkshire, RG7 4PR (secure nuclear-licensed site)

Duration: Up to 12 months (strong potential for extension)

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 07:30 18:00 (10 hours paid per day)
• Saturday working available at overtime rates (premium rates apply)
• 56 day working week as required by programme

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to work and supervise a Groundworks gang on a long-term infrastructure project at AWE Aldermaston. The primary scope involves the excavation of approximately 800 mm deep service trenches, installation of multi-utility cables, and subsequent backfill and reinstatement works. You will operate modern 1320 tonne 360 excavators in a live construction environment with strict quality, safety, and security standards.
