Group Logistics ManagerHuntingdon & Biggleswade£37,000 – £40,000 Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced Logistics Manager, Transport Manager or Fleet Manager who enjoys improving operations, reducing costs and getting the best from both vehicles and people? We’re recruiting for a Group Logistics Manager to take ownership of logistics operations across two sites in Huntingdon and Biggleswade. This is a hands-on management role with responsibility for delivery planning, fleet utilisation, driver performance, transport costs, compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to review how the operation currently works, identify efficiencies and implement improvements that have a genuine commercial impact.What you’ll be doing

• Planning and coordinating logistics and deliveries across two sites.
• Creating efficient delivery schedules and routes to maximise vehicle utilisation and minimise unnecessary mileage and costs.
• Taking ownership of the company vehicle fleet, including servicing, maintenance, inspections, roadworthiness and compliance.
• Managing, motivating and developing the driver team, including performance reviews and coaching.
• Ensuring vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently and products are protected during transit.
