Handyman / Maintenance Operative

Location: Dunstable
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am 6:00pm (40 hours per week)

A busy plastic manufacturing company based in Dunstable are looking for a reliable, practical Handyman / Maintenance Operative to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role that supports the day-to-day upkeep of our production facility and office areas. They're looking for someone who is proactive, takes pride in their work, and is happy to turn their hand to a range of maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general handyman and maintenance duties.
• Painting and basic decorating.
• Use power and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance in the production area and offices.
• Assemble, install, and repair fixtures and equipment as required.
• Keep work areas safe, tidy, and well maintained.
• Support general cleaning duties, including cleaning office areas, kitchens, and toilets.
• Report maintenance issues that require specialist attention.
