Handyman – Reading Location: Reading, Berkshire Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Handyman to join our team on projects across Reading and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a broad range of maintenance and repair skills who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out general maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties. * Completing basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and minor electrical tasks (where competent and permitted). * Installing fixtures, fittings, and furniture. * Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently. * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. * Following all health and safety procedures on site. Requirements * Previous experience as a handyman or in a general maintenance role. * Good all-round practical skills across multiple trades. * Must have a valid CSCS Card. * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. * Reliable, punctual, and professional. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Full UK driving license is desirable but not essential.
