Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at their established hotel in Stratford. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef with strong leadership skills to take ownership of a busy kitchen, drive food quality, and inspire a dedicated brigade.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards across breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation.
• Develop seasonal menus that reflect quality, creativity, and commercial success.
• Train, mentor, and motivate the kitchen brigade.
• Manage food costs, stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Oversee kitchen rotas, labour costs, and staffing levels.
• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
