If you're an experienced Head of ABL looking to shape the direction of a growing lending business, this is an opportunity to lead the Asset-Based Lending function and play a key role in its continued growth. You'll influence strategy, build long-term client relationships, and lead a specialist team within a modern financial services business.
This role offers genuine autonomy and commercial impact. You'll work across the full Asset-Based Lending product range, structuring complex facilities, developing the lending proposition, and helping businesses access the funding they need to grow.
Package & Benefits
- Salary £70,000 to £75,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the strategic direction of the Head of ABL function to achieve business growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Asset-Based Lending team while promoting high performance and continuous improvement.
- Structure Asset-Based Lending facilities in excess of £5 million and oversee lending decisions in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Build and strengthen relationships with established businesses while identifying opportunities to grow the Asset-Based Lending portfolio.
About You
- Minimum of 10 years' experience within financial services, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience across the full Asset-Based Lending product range, including structuring facilities exceeding £5 million.
- Track record of managing relationships with businesses generating annual turnover in excess of £15 million.
