Head of Asset | Social Housing £80,000 – £85,000 Stockwell, South London Hyperion Partners are working in partnership with a South London housing provider to recruit a Head of Asset. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the strategic and operational performance of the organisation’s property services portfolio, reporting directly to the Director of Resident Services. The successful candidate will lead across: • Responsive repairs and maintenance • Voids and property condition • Compliance and statutory servicing • Building and fire safety • Damp & mould and Awaab’s Law • M&E services • Contractor management and procurement • Asset condition and HHSRS • Budgets and value for money • Resident experience and service improvement We’re looking for an experienced property leader with a strong background in social housing and a track record of leading complex, high-volume services. You’ll need to combine strong technical and regulatory knowledge with commercial awareness and effective leadership. You’ll be responsible for driving performance across the portfolio, managing risk, challenging contractor performance and ensuring residents receive safe, compliant and well-maintained homes. The role will also provide senior-level assurance on property performance, compliance and risk, working closely with the Director, SLT and Board. We’re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate: * Senior leadership experience within social housing property or asset management * Strong knowledge of repairs, voids, compliance and building safety * Up-to-date knowledge of Awaab’s Law, HHSRS and Consumer Standards * Experience managing contractors, procurement and commercial performance * Strong understanding of M&E and statutory compliance * Responsibility for significant budgets and value-for-money outcomes * Experience leading multidisciplinary teams * A proven track record of service improvement and transformation This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a broad property services portfolio and play a key role in the future direction and performance of the service
