Head of Cost Consultancy (Commercial Manager / QS)

Overview Our client are a leading multi-discipline consultancy working on large scale residential development and fire safety remediation programmes in England, they require a highly motivated, high achieving individual (chartered or equivalent) with significant commercial cost consultancy and leadership experience in the following job role. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING ■ Strong team leader and motivator. ■ Leadership skills in steering and developing a cost consultancy team. ■ Procurement strategies. ■ Residential sector Cost Planning. ■ Team spirited, including within DTMs. ■ Proactive, with lateral thinking and problem solving skills. ■ Client facing. ■ Cladding remediation. ■ Programme management. ■ Detailed knowledge of NRM. ■ Microsoft Office software. ■ CostX or similar. EXPERIENCE ■ Residential including high-rise ■ Mixed use developments ■ Public sector ■ Regeneration ■ Brownfield sites Pre-Contract ■ To head and undertake development appraisals. ■ Cost planning and estimating for residential and remediation projects. ■ Work with Design Managers to maximise client development opportunities. ■ Support Fire Engineers, Project Managers and Employer’s Agent in DTMs. ■ Soft market testing options and apprai...
