The post holder will:
- Lead the strategic, operational and clinical delivery of healthcare services within HMP Stoke Heath.
- Ensure services are responsive, evidence based, patient centred and aligned with reducing health inequalities.
- Act as the senior healthcare representative within the prison, developing strong partnerships with prison leadership, commissioners, NHS providers and external stakeholders.
- Lead service transformation and continuous quality improvement to deliver improved patient outcomes, experience and value for money.
- Foster a culture of safety, learning, innovation and professional excellence.
- Ensure robust clinical governance, risk management and regulatory compliance arrangements are in place.
- Promote integration between physical health, mental health, public health and substance misuse services to provide seamless care.
