Shape the future of marketing at ACO Technologies plc

ACO Technologies plc is seeking an ambitious, commercially minded Head of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and transform insight, creativity and technical expertise into measurable business growth.

Reporting to the Water Management Divisional Managing Director, this influential leadership role will see you lead a talented marketing team and play a key role in strengthening ACO's position across the building materials value chain – engaging specifiers, contractors, distributors, industry partners and customers.

You will drive an integrated, insight-led marketing approach that enhances brand reputation, supports specification influence, generates demand and delivers clear, measurable commercial results.

As a leading global provider of innovative water management solutions, ACO designs, develops and manufactures high-quality products for the construction industry. Through sustainable solutions and cutting‑edge technology, we help customers manage water effectively, protect valuable resources and improve the environment.

Operating within the dynamic construction and landscaping sectors, ACO offers an exciting and complex B2B environment where marketers can make a tangible impact.

This role is based at our Head Office in Shefford, Bedfordshire. Regular office attendance is required, along with occasional travel. Hybrid working is available.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

We’re looking for a confident marketing leader who can balance strategy with hands‑on delivery - someone who understands how to turn complex technical products and market insight into clear, compelling campaigns that drive action.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within construction, building materials, manufacturing, engineering or a related industrial sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link marketing activity to growth, revenue, pipeline and ROI.
  • Experience of specification-led marketing, multi‑channel distribution models or technical product marketing.
  • A track record of delivering integrated campaigns, product launches and demand generation activity.
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics and content platforms
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence across sales, product, technical and senior leadership teams.
  • A creative, forward‑thinking approach, combined with strong operational discipline.
  • A passion for innovation, sustainability and the evolving construction landscape.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive total reward package including performance related bonus opportunity
  • Company car or car cash scheme
  • Full training on our market‑leading water management products
  • Private health care / Personal pension schemes with high employer contributions
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays - increasing to 28 days with service
  • Clear career development pathways
  • Supportive, inclusive team culture
  • Work for a global brand with local impact and room to grow

Equality, diversity, and inclusion:

Equality, diversity, and inclusion holds significant importance to us; we have a culture of belonging.

We are committed to enhancing the diversity of our workforce to ensure we can provide the best service possible for everyone.

Beyond your professional background - we’re interested in your individuality and your future potential.

If there are specific adjustments needed in our recruitment process that would help you to be your best, please speak to our team and they’ll be happy to help.
