A senior Organisational Development and Culture role leading learning, workforce capability, culture transformation and employee experience across a large, multi-site education organisation. You will shape and mobilise the people strategy needed to support ambitious organisational growth and future workforce requirements.

Description

  • Lead the development of a long-term workforce capability strategy
  • Align workforce capability with future organisational and service requirements
  • Lead cultural diagnostics and organisation-wide culture transformation
  • Develop and embed a behavioural framework aligned to organisational values
  • Design a scalable leadership development framework and programme
  • Lead workforce skills audits and develop a structured CPD framework
  • Develop the employee experience and engagement strategy
  • Lead engagement surveys, insight, action planning and impact measurement
  • Develop approaches to apprenticeship funding and workforce development investment
  • Produce senior-level business cases, recommendations and implementation plans

Profile

A successful Head of Organisational Development & Culture should have:

  • Senior experience across OD, L&D, culture and employee experience
  • Strong track record of translating strategy into practical programmes
  • Strong employee engagement and employee listening expertise
  • Comfortable influencing senior executives and multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong programme management and implementation capability
  • Able to produce high-quality business cases and executive-level papers
  • Understanding of apprenticeship funding and workforce development
  • Credible, collaborative and commercially minded people leader

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience
  • 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
  • Senior leadership role with significant strategic influence

  • Hybrid working can be considered, but this is important:
