We’re Scan.com, the digital health scale‑up that brings diagnostics faster, transparently, and into the hands of patients and providers alike.

Scan.com runs a B2C marketplace that makes booking a scan as simple as booking a hotel, and a B2B platform that provides live scheduling at the point of care and AI‑driven workflow efficiencies for physicians, attorneys and other providers.

We’re looking for a Head of Partnerships to lead the UK partnerships function as our B2B platform expands into insurance, medico‑legal, dental and consultant verticals. This role is based in London and reports directly to the UK Managing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Development function, shape its structure, and own the UK partnerships pipeline end‑to‑end—from field‑based outreach to commercial negotiation and close.
  • Act as the face of Scan.com for key clients, building trust, driving performance and spotting new opportunities.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of B2B partnership opportunities across insurers, cash‑plan providers, dental groups, referring provider practices and healthcare networks.
  • Conduct field outreach—calling on and visiting referring provider practices—to onboard them onto the Scan.com platform.
  • Lead commercial negotiations from outreach through to contract signature, meeting targets for sign‑ups and referral volume.
  • Set and own the UK partnership strategy in collaboration with the Managing Director.
  • Maintain relationships with existing partners, gathering feedback and market insights to shape Scan.com strategy.
  • Collaborate with product, supply and finance teams—including US colleagues—to structure deals that are operationally and commercially sound.
  • Represent Scan.com at industry events and build the company’s profile in the UK healthcare partnerships landscape.

What we want you to achieve in your first year

  • Build and convert a qualified partnership pipeline, closing several anchor B2B deals across priority verticals.
  • Establish a clear, repeatable framework for sourcing, negotiating and closing partnership deals, including field‑based referral outreach.
  • Grow revenue and volume from existing key accounts through renegotiated or expanded terms.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across partner organisations.
  • Be a collaborative, values‑led member of the Scan.com team—bringing energy, curiosity and a solutions‑first mindset.

What you might bring to the table

  • Strong track record in B2B partnerships, field sales or commercial negotiation, ideally in healthcare, health‑tech or a related regulated industry.
  • Proven experience in a closing sales role, confident in cold‑calling and dropping into potential clients unannounced.
  • Confidence leading complex negotiations and closing deals with senior stakeholders.
  • Self‑starter approach—comfortable building a pipeline from scratch and working autonomously.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically about market positioning and growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, engaging credibly across clinical, operational and commercial audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, scaling business where priorities can shift.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK— a full, clean driving licence is helpful.

Benefits

  • Salary range of £70,000–£80,000.
  • Statutory pension.
  • Healthcare plan.
  • All the equipment needed for you to do your role effectively.
  • Flexible working.
  • Personal Development budgets.
  • 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Wellness budget to spend via a partner platform.
  • Access to talking therapy.
  • Inclusive policies designed by our team, for our team.

Scan.com is committed to eliminating discrimination and encouraging diversity within our team. We strive to provide equality and fairness for all job applicants and employees, and we never discriminate on the basis of gender, marital status, age, race, ethnicity, religion or physical differences. We are opposed to all forms of unlawful treatment and discrimination.
