Who we are: Cancer Fund for Children is an ambitious charity with a vision that every child impacted by cancer should receive the right emotional support at the right time, no matter where they live on the island of Ireland. Founded in 1973 we now have a turnover of more than £3.5m and we employ more than 90 staff.

What we do: Cancer Fund for Children provides holistic support to families affected by childhood cancer through a range of services. Dedicated support workers guide families from referral onwards, while specialist teams deliver hospital, home and community-based support. Young people actively shape services through advocacy and leadership programmes. Therapeutic short breaks at Daisy Lodge strengthen family wellbeing and relationships, and a second centre in Co. Mayo will more than double capacity, enabling support for up to 4,000 family members annually.

Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for some-one who can provide strategic and operational leadership for the organisation’s people agenda, ensuring that we continue to develop as a values-driven, empowering, dynamic and cohesive workplace.
