Head Of Program Managment

Head of Program Management – Full time. Salary £75,000‑£80,000 per annum plus car and benefits. Location: Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Group Operations Director.

This senior management role transforms a technical and project management team into a high-performance operation, overseeing a portfolio of customer programmes from contract award through design, manufacture, and site installation.

Responsibilities

• Transform a technical and project management team into a high-performance operation.
• Deliver a portfolio of customer programmes from contract award through design, manufacture and on-site installation.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
• As a member of the senior management team, be involved in strategic direction, establish robust governance, effective resource planning, and best-practice programme management methodologies to support operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
• Ensure all CDM management, risk assessments and methods statements are adhered to.
• Actively manage and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Senior Programme Manager or Project Manager capacity with expertise in engineering, manufacturing, contractor management and site coordination.
• Proven track record of delivering high-value complex customer capital expenditure projects within time and budget.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams delivering high-value turnkey projects.
• Analytical with good judgement, commercial business sense and problem‑solving skills.
• Relationship-builder with strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Structured worker with good time management and project management ability.
